My passenger side mirror recently broke off and i would like to replace it my self....how do i get it off?

and to answer the question i dont have the money for the shop if you must know and i love working on cars anyway so i though i would save some money and learn some stuff and how do i get the plastic piece off to reach all of that?

Remove the triangle-shaped piece of trim at the front of the window. Take off the nuts that hold the mirror to the door (there should be three), then remove the mirror and pull the wires up from behind the door panel until you get to the connector and disconnect it. You can use a small flat head screwdriving to gently pry it up or there might even be a phillips head screw holding it on
