Can my gfs family press charges on me like this?
About two weeks ago i was at my gfs house. Her brother got mad and punched me in the nose n i bled really bad. The police came and asked me if i wanted to press charges on them. but now two weeks later her family says they are going to press charges on me if i go through with it for not leaving the house which is a lie because I did. Can they do that?
Can they do it? Sure. But if it was two weeks ago and they didn't go to the police for your alleged trespassing then, it is highly unlikely that it will hold up in court.
